He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Thompson, and William G. Thompson, Sr.; and his sisters, Ann "Tootsie" Schraffenberger, Kathy Hicks and Dola Kessinger.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Thompson (Wooldridge); his daughter Brittany; his son-in-law Jason Hicks; his son William G. III; his daughter-in-law Santana Thompson; his grandchildren, Kerrigan Coyne (Patrick), Kaitlynn Hicks (Zach), Chance Keith, Gabriella Keith (Hayden) and Addison Hicks; his siblings, Janice Bullock and David Thompson (Debbie); his brothers-in-law, Chuck Wooldridge (Rohn) and Troy Wooldridge (Becky); and his pets, Molly, Ginger and Betty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
