He was predeceased by: his parents, Searcy Nilsson Capps and Selma Augusta Stenberg Capps; his siblings, Albert Nilsson Capps (Thelma), Harvey Foster Capps (Jerre), Gladys Eleanor Capps Ballard and Dorothy Naomi Capps Hartung (Richard); his brother-in-law Karl Gunther Reinhardt; and his nephew Robert Nilsson Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Josephine Dean Capps; his children, Michael Anthony Capps of Whites Creek, TN and Natasha Lind Capps Paulsen (Nathan) of Owensboro, KY; his grandchildren, Kaylee Alexandra Wolfe, Clinton "Clint" Henry Paulsen, II and William Caffrey Paulsen of Owensboro, KY; and his sister Sandra Amelia Capps Reinhardt of Whites Creek, TN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
