Mary Jane left this world on December 12, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Paddy Stokes and Della Upton Stokes Turner; her husband Robert "Cotton" Russell Jr.; and her siblings, Jim Stokes, Dorris Stokes, Bill Stokes, Thurston Stokes, Junior Stokes, Helen Russell, Diane Lancaster, Louise Tabb and Annie Ewing.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Dewayne "Bubba" Russell of Fairview, Robert Edgar Russell (Angela) of Elkton and Patricia Ann "Patty" Abston of Fairview. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Latham Funeral Home (413 E Main St, Elkton, KY 42220). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
