It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Houston Meade of Fairview, Kentucky, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Houston Meade and Juanita Berry Zapf; and his sister Anna Sue Meade. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jones Meade; his children, Johnny Meade (Debra Watson) of Fairview, Jimmy Meade (Ada Stacy) of Ewing, Kentucky. and Connie Wilson (Kenney Sledd) of Paris, Kentucky.; his goddaughters, Savannah Gilbert and Heaven Gilbert; his siblings, Terry Meade of Whitesburg, Wilma O'Connor (Barry) of Kalispell, Sandra Buerkle (Don) of West Harrison, Cindy Discepoli (Guy) of Cincinnati and Diane Levinson of Marblehead, Massachusetts.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Meade, Brooke Meade Sparks, Tyler Barnett, Chandra Barnett, Cody Barnett, Shelby Meade and Natalie Meade; and his great grandchildren, Easton Barnett and Madilyn Meade.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Lexington Medical Center.
