She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas "JT" Lusby and Thelma Lewis Keith; her husband Billy Corbett; and her siblings, John Lusby, Juanita Lusby and Jerry Lusby.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Mason (Kim), Sondra Wood (John), Billie Jo Corbett and Kimberly Corbett. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren and her twenty great-grandchildren.

To honor Carolyn's memory, memorial contributions are suggested to Owen County Children's Fund.
