He was predeceased by: his parents, James Corbett and Maggie Rae Morrow Hardin; his wife Yvonne Baker Hardin; his son John Gaines; and his siblings, Alberta Hedden, Evelyn Bowman, Willard Hardin and James Hardin.
He is survived by: his son Brian Hardin (Tracy) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Carly Cosper (Maceo), Cale Gaines, Zachary Dyer, Jenna Hardin, Thomas Dyer and Andrew Dyer; and his great grandchildren, Rosiana Cosper, Tessa Cosper, Grace Cosper and Marceleno Gaines.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Houghlin Funeral Home (119 Fairfield Hill Rd, Bloomfield, KY 40008). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (320 Taylorsville Rd, Bloomfield, KY 40008).
