He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Scott and Josephine Scott; his wife Emma Lou Scott; and his siblings, Dorothy Lydan, Richard, Joseph, Rufus Jr. (Dusty) and Wilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Porter (Danny), Charles Jr. (Patricia) of Phoenix, AZ and Terry (Mary Lou) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Natasha, Alonzo of Chris, D. J. and Nikki. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
