He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lester and Margaret Lester; his wife Velda Lester; and his son William C. Lester, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Hicks; his grandsons, Brad Hicks (Andrea Cirbian) and Shaun Hicks (Nadia Islam); and his sisters, Helen Williamson and Carol Bolin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
