He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos Pace and Mae Pace; his son Jonathan R. Pace; his stepson Mark A. Cox; and his sisters, Myrtle Johnson and Zola Radar.

He is survived by: his daughter Gina Hueston (Steve); and his siblings, Howard Pace and Rita Rice. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
