He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Weird and Hazel Weird (Snawder); and his wife Joyce Grissett. He is survived by: his children, Starla Hauck (Charles), Twila Holbrook, Sonsiea Petrie, Rebecca Sue Pyron, Katherine Shepherd, Wayne Weird, Thomas Weird and Roxanne Jones; and his siblings, Robert Weird and Charlotte Catron.
