She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Sims (Cheatham) and Leroy Sims; and her son Danny Merriett. She is survived by: her children, Edward Whobrey (Glenda) and Johnnie L. Merriett; and her sister Peggy McGrew. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
