She is survived by: her husband Troy Newkirk; her children, Brian Newkirk (Leslie), Quentin Newkirk (Danielle) and Aisha Simpson (Brandon); her grandchildren, Aiden, Jace, Addison, Arya, Jagger, Paisley and Saige; her mother Diana Brooks; and her siblings, Jennifer Yates (Bruce) and Tom Brooks (Jodi). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family and friends.
