It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Johnson of Fairdale, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Johnson and Pearl Johnson; his daughters-in-law, Carla Johnson and Donna Johnson; his grandson Denny Shae; and his siblings, Willie Jr., James Brisco (JB), Robert (Bobby), Norma Neville, Vernon (Bud), Gilbert, Howard and Allene.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Johnson; his children, John Alan Johnson (Sandra), Belinda Watson (Doug), James Earl Johnson and Kiley Johnson; his grandchildren, Billy Hundley, Christopher Johnson (Mikayla), Kristin Johnson, Blake Johnson, Brianna Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson and Bradley Shea; his great grandchildren, Cadence Hundley, Noah Hundley, Kendall Shea, Olivia Johnson and Madeline Johnson; and his sister Beverly Leverette.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to send donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
