He is survived by: his wife Lila Montgomery Gibbs; his children, Daryl Edwin Gibbs of Cynthiana and Monica Whitt of West Liberty; his siblings, Everitt Lee Gibbs of West Liberty, Cloteen Whitt of Salyersville Kentucky, Betty Cantrell of Ezel and Ruth Cantrell of West Liberty; and his grandchildren, Adam Ryan Gibbs of Cynthiana, Clinton Chase Whitt and Hannah Grace Whitt.
