He is survived by: his wife Naomi Jean Smith (Walters); his children, Michael Dwayne Smith of Ezel, KY, Angela Dawn Thompson of Ballard, WV, James Gregory Smith of Ballard, WV and Valerie Michelle Conley (David) of Ezel, KY; his grandchildren, Timothy Mitchell Justice, J. R. Thompson, Jeromy Thompson, Shane Thacker, Chris Dillon, Nick Dillon, Amber Romanello, Michelle Woolwine and David Matthew Thompson; his siblings, Julia Smith, Erma Smith and Carl Smith; and also, Johnny, Royetta Smith and Abby. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
