He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Parks and Julie Bryant Parks; his son Danny Parks; and his sisters, Betty, Pauline, Modell, Vanessie and Walsie.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Alexander Parks; his children, Geraldine Jones, Janet Woods, Linda Rose, Regina Harmison, David Parks and Raymond Parks; and his siblings, Doris Jean Martin, Rexine Wallen, Gary Parks, Fred, Earl, Bud, Herbert, Garland and George Parks. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
