Charles Ward Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Ward of Ezel, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charles farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ward and Mable Ward; his sister Noreda; and his brother-in-law Charles Peyton. He is survived by: his nephews, Stephen Peyton (Jane), Jeffrey Peyton (Christina) and Gregory Peyton (Leisa). He is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephews and 10 great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ezel Presbyterian Church (Ezel Cemetery). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
