He is survived by: his wife Rossetti Lynn Everman Highfield; his children, James Austin Highfield (Beth Dixon) of Ewing, Darrell Latham (Sheila) of Tilton and Brianna Lynn Highfield of Ewing; his siblings, Johnny Abner of Ewing, David Abner of Ewing, Tinie Clark (Tim) of Ewing, Patty Clark of Ewing, Mary Lou Abner of Flemingsburg, Robyn Abner of Flemingsburg and Lena Black of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Brittany Latham, Caleb Latham, Elizabeth Latham, Jacob Latham and Addison Latham; and his great grandchildren, Aleah Becker and Brooklyn Wright. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
