She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Derringer and Mabel Phillips Derringer; her son Robert Major; and her siblings, Betty Jean Gregory, Donnie Derringer and Dean Derringer.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Major; her children, Mark Major of Thomas, Melissa Lowe (Donnie), Crystal Major and Leslee Major (John Bassett); her sisters, Maxine Rigney and Darlene Carmicle (Ernie); her grandchildren, Samantha Major, Bradley Lowe, Tristan Major, Katelyn Major, Lauren Major, Kinsley Coffman, Preston Barrett, Victoria Dickson, Chad Major, Nathan Major and Nick Schiltz; her great grandchildren, Ada Burton, Jackson Murphy, Bayleigh Major and Brooklyn Major; and her close friends, Ron, Penny Bailey, Mike and Jenny Beckett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brell & Son Funeral Home (620 E 2nd St, Maysville, KY 41056). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
