She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bradley Burkhart, Sr. and Ruby Barnes Burkhart; her brother William Bradley Burkhart, Jr.; and her former husband David. She is survived by: her fiancé Jerry Owens; her children, Farrahan Short (Michael Witt), Lakeisha Burkhart (Marquis Oneal) and Corey Burkhart; her siblings, Neal Burkhart, Troy Burkhart (Vanett) of Aurora, IN, Lloyd Ray Burkhart (Kim) and Faye; her daughters, Judy Freeman (Tim), Lillie Mae Napier (Alex) and Paula Payne (John); and her grandchildren, Koven Oneal, Greyson Oneal, Easton Short and Michael Vincent Witt, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with her funeral expenses.
