He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Nunley Pruitt; his parents, Albert Lee Pruitt and Martha Lou Davis Pruitt; his daughter Tahiti Lynn Pruitt; and his siblings, Mary Aldridge, Margaret Money, Charles, David, Jimmy and Hobart Pruitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Hatfield, Tabitha Long (Eric) and Stacey Moore (Ricky); his brothers, Tommy, Jackie, Gordon and Claude Pruitt; his grandchildren, Kyle Hatfield (Richmond), Katie Hatfield (Lexington), Brandi Cole (Marcus) of New Tazewell, TN, Cody Wood (Knoxville), Mariah Edens (Putney) and Ava Long (Knoxville); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Jane Cole, Rayna, Michael and Aiden Edens.
