He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dykes and Margie Dykes; his siblings, Linda Lou Dykes Hubbard and Ronnie Dykes; and his grandparents, Lige and Vira Fultz Dykes.
He is survived by: his grandson Max; his wife Lydia Hamby Dykes; his daughter Michelle Dykes Anderson (Sam); his grandson Pierce Maxwell Anderson (Verda); his brother Jimmy Dykes (Charlotte) of Connersville, IN; his brother-in-law John Hamby; and his close friend David Gross.
