With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maymie Helen Vaughn of Evarts, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Harris Vaughn and Homer Vaughn; and her brothers, James "Buddy" Wright (Phyllis) and Charles Wright. She is survived by: her daughter Arlena Lynch (Robert); her grandchildren, LeAnna of Ages and Maycee Lynch of Ages; her nieces and nephews, Tammy Wotier (Harold), Donna Middleton (Marty), James Wright (Claudette), Buddy Wright (Chrissy) and Harlan; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua Blevins, Eastbrook, Tasha Cornett, Amber Lefevers, Shanoa Middleton, Christofer Wright, Dalton Wright, Joseph Wright, Jacob Wright, Sierra Bass, Savannah Blevins and Little Buddy Wright; and her close friends, Druesilla, Tom Lunsford, Claudine Johnson, Dorothy Napier and Charlene Middleton. She is also survived by great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evarts Funeral Home (119 Bridge St, Evarts, KY 40828). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
