She was predeceased by: her son Billy Jones; her parents, Rufus Shipman and Naomi Miller Shipman; and her siblings, Joann Haynes, Edna Mae Shipman, Betty Jean Shipman, Rufus Shipman and James Shipman.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil Boyd; her children, Edward Jones and Sandra Partin (Spartagus); her grandchildren, Chloe, Tanner, Destinee Jones, Colton Cook, Patricia, Timothy, Nathanael and Everleigh Partin; her great grandchild Levi Partin; and her siblings, Henrietta North of Harlan, Brenda Shipman of Harlan, Sandra Jackson of Harlan, Mary Napier, Verda, Bill Shipman of Evarts, Maynard Shipman of Evarts and Lee Shipman (Lisa). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evarts Funeral Home (119 Bridge St, Evarts, KY 40828). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
