He was predeceased by: his grandfather Greg McLain; and his great-grandparents, Grace Rickett, Irene Blevins, Thelma McLain and Russell McLain.

He is survived by: his parents, Amanda Blevins and Derrek McLain; his stepfather Phillip Osborne; his girlfriend Kerrynton Asher; his daughter Korbyn McLain; his siblings, Natalie McLain and Traven Carver; his grandparents, Jerry, Charlotte Blevins, Sherry "Nanaw" Helton, Ella Stump and Eastbrook; his great-grandparents, Don and Shirley Helton; his aunts and uncles, Megan, John Stewart, Scott, LaBreska McKenzie, Rachel and Olivia McLain; and his close friend Demarco Hopkins.

Per mandates set by the Governor of Kentucky, everyone attending is required to wear a face mask and to maintain social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations on his funeral would be greatly appreciated.

We kept in touch after military school and i will miss talking to him. I could tell him anything without judgement. My prayers are with you all. I hope God watches over you and wraps his hands around you given you strength and courage during this time.”
