He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirl Hughes and Martha Ledford Hughes; his wife Barbara Pace; his children, Adrian Hughes and Joe Hughes; and his siblings, Edna Caudill, Glen, Adrian and Gerald "Jerry" Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jo King (Ricky) of Evarts, Donnie Pace of Evarts, Timothy Hughes of Evarts and Donna Hughes of Lejunior; his sisters, Retha Brock (Rufus), Frances Bennett of Evarts, Patsy Bennett (Evarts), Karen Kelly (Brookside) and Cathy Hughes; and his grandchildren, Tristan Pace, Kaylie Pace, Adrian Pace, Jessalynn Pace, McKinlee Pace, Timothy Hughes, Jacob Hughes, Dakota Furgerson and Michael Taulbee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
