With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cindy Mefford (Evarts, Kentucky), born in Harlan, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patsy Ruth Noe Fox and Theodore, Jr. Fox; her son Dustin Ryan Mefford; her grandparents, Frank, Dessie Noe (Norwood), Elmer, Sr. and Ruby Fox (Wydner); her brother-in-law Tex Layton; and her niece Abby Owens.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Mefford; her son Derek Mefford (Brooke Johnson); her grandchildren, Ryley Mefford, Emma Brock, Claire Middleton and Gracie Baird; her siblings, Angel Layton and Teddy Fox; her nieces and nephews, Kasey Creech, Megan Thomas, Dakota Layton, Hunner Layton, Isabel Owens, Sam Fox and Trevor Fox; and her parents-in-law, June Alene Mefford and Ronnie Mefford.
