She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Posey and Laura Willis Posey; her husband Kenneth Short; her children, Richard Cameron Short and Mary Ann Short; her siblings, Mary Posey, Thelma Madden and Ray Posey; her grandson Richard Cameron Short, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Milea Belofski, Timothy Dean and Robin Dean; and her great great grandchild Baby Joshua Short.
She is survived by: her daughters, Toni Johnson (Rick Johnson), Reba Hensley (Harlan), Tammy Short and Linda Short Glisson (Edward) of Tazewell, TN; her sister Mabel Coker; and her grandchildren, Johnny Ray Short, Barbie Middleton, Jeremiah Holbrook, Benjamin Johnson, Crystal Collins, Jonathan Johnson, Aarin Sawyers, Zechariah Johnson, Ariel McWilliams, Chandler Napier, Bobbie Cupp, Levi Monroe, Shyla Short and Cody Wynn. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
