It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Nyleen Hood Acton of Eubank, Kentucky, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Cromer and Lucretia Cromer (Rash); her former husband Lance Hood; her sons, Gary Hood and Terry Hood; and her siblings, Lester Cromer, Joe Cromer, Ed Cromer, Ina Bullock, Lina Dilbert, Essie Payne and Dessie Bullock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Scott (Philip) and Karen Hood; her daughter-in-law Gayle Hood; her brother Jerald Cromer; her grandchildren, Ashley Stepp (Matt), Morgan Henson (Justin), Meagan Garrison (Nick), Joshua Scott (Courtney), Jeremy Hood, Travis Hood and Kayla Gentry; and her great grandchildren, Emily Henson, Jaxon Hood and Collin Hood.
