He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Martin and Doreen Martin (Eckhart); his son Craig Martin; his stepson Anthony Caldwell; and his brother Timothy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Martin (Jones); his daughters, Kimberly Bixler (Jon) of Elizabethtown and Amy Kate Baldwin (Myron) of Nicholasville, Kentucky; his brother Rodney Martin (Anita) of Brockfields, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kevin Bixler, Justin Bixler, Chad Martin, Brianna Martin, Bryce Baldwin, Chris Caldwell, Brittany Caldwell and Asia Bolin; his great grandchildren, Chandler Martin, Kallie Bixler, Natalie Harvey, Alicyn Harvey and Serenity Caldwell; and his uncle Buzz Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to the Buncombe Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
