He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Chaney and Georgia Bullock Chaney; and his brother David Glen Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Larkin Chaney; his children, Perry Chaney of Tennessee and Teilea Chaney (Adam) of Illinois; his stepdaughter Jeanne Moore (Jason) of Eubank; his grandsons, Haiden, Evin LaRoe, Caleb, Zachery Campos and Jase Chaney; his stepsons, Zack and John; his stepgranddaughters, Martika Martin and Keisha Pitman; his stepgreat-grandson James Pitman; his siblings, Dennis Chaney (Sheila) of London, KY, Steve Chaney (Etta) of Mt, Twila Luening (Stewart) of Illinois and Teresa Welles (Dennis) of Somerset; and his close friend William "Bill" Dye. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
