Roy Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Smith of Eubank, Kentucky, who passed away on September 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Smith and Vinnie Smith (Smiley); his former wife Thelma Smith (Nevels); his wife Mary Smith (Bellomy); his stepchildren, George O'Dell and Mary Frances Duhaway; and his siblings, Hubert Smith (Betty), Wilmer Smith and Zula Coe.
He is survived by: his children, John Smith of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Jerry Smith (Melanie) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Rita Conley (David) of Fountain Inn; his stepchildren, Donald O'Dell of Somerset, James O'Dell of Delaware, Shirley Games of Delaware, Sandra Massey of Delaware and Peggy Sue Powell of Delaware; and his sister Ruey Crouch of Eubank, Kentucky. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and forty-four step-great-grandchildren.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
