He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Annie Allen, Sr. (Burkhart); his former wife Connie Sue Allen; his son Robert Travis Allen; and his siblings, Marion Allen, Clarence Allen, Leslie Allen, Bert Allen, Gib Allen, Ruby Profitt, Anna Barber, Pearl Spencer, Lizzie Burns and Gladys Wesley.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Allen (Mercer); his daughter Amy Caldwell (James) of Crab Orchard; his stepson Jimmy Black of Eubank; his sisters, Margaret Grace Hampton of Waynesburg and Ilene Morgan of Eubank; his grandchildren, Isaiah and Emma; his stepgrandchildren, Bryanna, Alyssa and Landon; and his great grandchild Adalynn.
