He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Guthrie and Mary Ernest Guthrie (Beaty); his wife Edna M. Guthrie; his daughter Martha Guthrie; his grandson Nathan; and his siblings, Kendrick, Elmer, Clyde, Ray, Hugh, Herbert, John Guthrie and Jimmie Szarka.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Guthrie (Shirley) of Eubank, Rick Guthrie (Barb) of Somerset and Lecia Ross (Terry) of Eubank; his grandchildren, Ryan Guthrie (Brittany), Aaron Ross (Chasiti), Samantha Martin (Chuck), Adam Ross (Katie) and Sean Ross (Cadie Gay); his great grandchildren, Rilee Ross, Emma Martin, Knox, Olsyn, Neely Guthrie, Layla and Maelie Ross; and his close friend Tiny. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of dontations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Science Hill Cemetery Fund.
