She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rutherford and Hazel Rutherford (Spears); her husband Melvin R. Habermehl; and her siblings, Clifford Rutherford, Mary Nash and Barbara Brock.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Habermehl (Michelle) of Plainfield, Indiana and Jewell Lukat (Barry) of Science Hill; her siblings, Tommy Rutherford (Salena) of Eubank and Linda Buchanan of Eubank; and her granddaughter Heather Habermehl of Plainfield, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
