Norman Hurt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2020, at the age of 81, Norman Hurt of Eubank, Kentucky, born in Somerset, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Hurt and Sarah Wesley Hall (Ed); his wife Judy Godbey Hurt; his son Christopher E. Hurt; his brother Rocky A. Hurt; and his grandson Mark Haste.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Caron (Steve) of Science Hill, Amy Haste (Zyndall) of Somerset, William Hurt (Mitzi) of Stanford and Scott Hurt (Christi) of Lexington; his siblings, Harold Hurt of Somerset, Mary Bonner of Anderson and Lucy Ludwig of Glendale, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Gillis (Justin), Jonathan Caron (Sydney), Darin Haste (Emilee), Allison Haste, Matthew Hurt (Bridget), Ameila Hurt, Lauren Hurt and Daniel Hurt. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; four nieces; and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Mark Allen Haste Spirit of the Band College Scholarship Fund in memory of Norman's beloved grandson.
