He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther and Lula Roberts, Sr. (Decker); and his brothers, Robert Pitman, Floyd Pitman, Lisco Hammonds, Tyler Roberts and Cas Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Roberts (Poynter); his sons, Danny Roberts (Kim) of Eubank and Edward Roberts (Rebecca) of Eubank; his foster sons, Brandon of Eubank, Bradley Wilson of Eubank and James Elliott of Eubank; his daughters, Carolyn Roberts and Sherry Nicely (Chris); and his siblings, Columbus of Ohio, John Roberts of Ohio and Polly Dowell of Waynesburg. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
