It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Shannon Singleton of Eubank, Kentucky, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemont Singleton and Zella Singleton (Wesley); his wife Janet "Jenny" Singleton (Loveless); his son Kenny Singleton; and his brothers, Forrest Singleton and Clyde Singleton.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hart (Allen) of Eubank, KY, Mike Singleton (Nicole) of Eubank, KY, Greg Barron (Esther) of Somerset, KY and Gwen Blanton (Terry) of Eubank, KY; his siblings, Loyal Singleton, Bobby Singleton of Eubank, KY and Glenda Griffin of Eubank, KY; and his grandchildren, Josh Hart (Melissa), Heather Baker (Tim), Eric Hart (Kelli), TJ Blanton (Felicia), Amber Adkins (Shawn), Jessie Hart, Amanda Keith (Cody), Emily Singleton and Abbigayle Singleton. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Singletontown First Church of God.
