She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Goldie Marie Pittman, Carl Phillip Pittman and Alberta Price; and her close friend Lisa Brown. She is survived by: her husband Nathan Ware; her daughter Nicole Ware; her parents, Roger Pittman and Kathy Pittman; her sister Angel Hopkins (Dallas); her parents-in-law, Dale and Berta Ware; her sister-in-law Tressa McElroy; and her grandfather Vernon Deaton of Somerset. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers Karen's wishes were for expressions of sympathy to take the form of donations to the Nicole Ware Education Fund.
