He was predeceased by: his parents, A. R. Kemper and Wealthie "Blanche" Kemper (Landis); and his siblings, Thelma Kemper Wagner, Mabel Kemper Karns, Albert, Melvin, Orville, Virgil, Wilbur, Lawrence, Chester and Marion Kemper.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Kemper (Parsons); his children, Peggy Kemper, George and Kris Kemper; his grandchildren, Chris Wooton, Amy Kemper and Courtney Wooton Smith; and his great grandchildren, Alex Franklin, Madison Franklin, Jaden Mitchell, John Smith and Andrew Osborne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
