Glen Stephens Obituary
Glen Stephens, 73, of Eubank, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born in Lincoln county on September 11, 1948 to the late McDowell and Susie Turner Stephens. He was a veteran of the US Army after serving in Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for Vaught Bros., Youngblood, Hayden Bros., and the Lincoln County Ready Mix.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Grabeel Stephens who he married on October 8, 1971; his sons, Robert "Lump" & (Kim) Stephens of Eubank; Gregory & (Trina) Stephens of Eubank; three grandchildren, Curtis & (Haley Edwards) Stephens of Science Hill; Kayla & (Dylan) Copeland of Eubank; Ryan & (Rachel) Denton of Science Hill; four great-grandchildren, Adler Copeland, Rhyker Copeland, Maddix Denton and Liam Denton, several nieces and nephews; two brothers, Wayne & (Jane) Stephens & Larry Stephens, both of Waynesburg; three sisters, Maxine Salyers of Somerset; Betty Lou & (Marvin) Wall of Somerset; and Wanda & (Jimmy) Henderson of Stanford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Ray Stephens, Lonnie McKinney & Ronald Lee Stephens; six sisters, Bonnie Smith, Faye Guinn, Beulah Singleton, Margie Hall, Norma Salyers and Jo Ann Stephens.
A funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffin officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
