He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ping and Clarice Ping (Adams); and his siblings-in-law, Pam Ping and Paul Gentry. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ping (Ennis); his children, Paula Thompson (Cary) of Somerset, Pamela Taylor (Eric) of Stanford, Patrick Ping (Shawna) of Eubank and Adam Ping (Angela) of Eubank; his siblings, Ronnie Ping (Sue), Brent Ping (Jean), Danny Ping, Janice Gentry and Patsy Morrow (Porter); his grandchildren, Colby Cash, Hunter Cash, Joshua Thompson, Katie Ping, Dawson Ping, Haley Ping and Brooklyn Ping; and his great grandchild Aiden Peska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the recommendations concerning the COVID-19, the services will be private, and for immediate family only.
