He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Hyden and Nannie Susan Hyden; his wife Regenia Pearl Hyden; his grandson Matthew Detheridge; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Wright; his siblings, Clayton Hyden, Gerald Hyden, Lewis Hyden, Getha Lovins and Beulah Janas; and his brother-in-law Oscar Dykes.
He is survived by: his children, Shawna Ping (Patrick) of Eubank, Tim Hyden of Somerset and Greg Hyden of Somerset; his stepsons, Winston Wright, Kyle Wright and Bill "Larry" Wright; his grandchildren, Brayden Hyden, Katie Ping, Dawson Ping (Cassi), Channing Wright, Destiny Wright, Kyle Wright, Laura Wright and Bill Michael Wright (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Bridger Ping, Allie Wright, Emma Wright, Kaiden Rowe, Remington Haught, Kai Haught, Joshua Haught, Kenzie Wright, Brielle Wright, Bentley Wright, Ozrik Masters and Casen Crowe; his brother Levon Hyden (Brenda) of Science Hill; his siblings-in-law, Lovena Oakes, Jimmy Goff, Clyde Goff and Johnny Goff; and his sisters, Sue Mize of Science Hill and Sharon Girdler (Paul) of Nancy.
