He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Whitaker and Crissie Whitaker of Eubank; his wife Charlcie Whitaker; his son Brian Lee Whitaker of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Robert Whitaker of Nicklesville, Dorsie Jean Whitaker of Eubank and Sarah Jane Whitaker May of Georgetown, KY..
He is survived by: his children, Karen Sue Whitaker Marcinko (Steve) of Woodstock, GA and Wayne Whitaker of LaFayette, GA.; his brothers, Jim (Karen), Reed (Mary) and Dale; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Abby, Morgan, Shawn, Dawn, Anna and Ashley. He is also survived by six nieces, five nephews and a large number of other family members along with cousins and friends.
