He is survived by: his wife Edna Cottrell; his children, Wayne Elder (Jeannie) of Bee Lick, Harold Elder (Barb) of Eubank, Brenda Shackleford of Eubank and Linda Dillingham of Eubank; his brother Cledious Elder of Covington; his daughter Wanda Boswell; and his sons-in-law, Bud Shackleford, Danny Dillingham and Cris Boswell.
