He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Lee Stanton and Helen Bentley Stanton. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Chaney Stanton of Eubank, KY; his children, Jordan Walden (Naresa) of Corbin, KY, Jared Walden (Ashley) of Somerset, KY and Katie Flynn (Cody) of Eubank, KY; his brothers, Roger Stanton (Rosalee) of Eubank, Charles "Monster" Latham (Angela) of Somerset, Timmy Grundy of Eubank, Phillip Grundy (Ashley) of Somerset and Blaine Ingram of Somerset; and his uncle Ralph Stanton of Greenwood, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the American Cancer Society.
