He was predeceased by: his parents, William Woodrow and Julia Mae Thompson (Whiles); and his sisters, Janice Dick and Linda Dick. He is survived by: his children, Woodrow Thompson and Brandy Rader (Daniel); his significant other Patsy Sanders; his siblings, Rick Thompson, Jimmy Thompson (Sharon) and Eunice Irvine (Gary); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Preston, Jaden and Skylar; and his close friend Martha Murphy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Darrell Ray Thompson Memorial Fund.
