He was predeceased by: his son Billy Ray Hasty. He is survived by: his parents, James E. Hasty, Sr. and Judy Clark Hasty; his wife Tina Renee Barron Hasty; his siblings, James E. Hasty, Jr. (Kathy) of Science Hill and Erica Michelle Hasty Rogers (Phillip) of Eubank; and his granddaughter Azura Hasty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
