He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Willie and Cordelia Godsey (Jasper); his wife Ada Godsey (Roberts); and his siblings, Billy, Ed, Lee Godsey and Patsy Godsey.
He is survived by: his children, Cory Godsey (Samantha) of Eubank and Tammy Keith (Randy) of Somerset; his brothers, Tom of Science Hill and Bob Godsey of Science Hill; his grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha, Matt, Jazzy and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Bella.
