He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Bishop and Vida Bishop; his sisters, Hazel (Claude Absher), Aline (James Cooper) and Hettie (Ernest Winstead); and his brother-in-law Silas Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Detherage of Lockland, Ohio; his children, Timothy Ray Bishop (Freda) of Somerset, Charles Mark Bishop of Eubank, Cathy Elizabeth Reynolds (Randy) of Eubank and Rebecca Dorita Spillman of Somerset; his grandchildren, Katieann Olivia Ford (Timothy) of Somerset, Adam Daniel Reynolds of Lexington, Hannah Grace Reynolds of Lexington, Lyndsey Annaliese Spillman of Somerset and Simon Noah Bishop Spillman of Somerset; his great grandchildren, Autumn Gregory of Somerset, Landon of Somerset, Matilynn of Somerset, Kinsley of Somerset, Carson of Somerset and Kamryn Cooper of Somerset; and his sisters, Marie Bishop of Eubank and Ethel Faye Shelton of Indiana. He is also survived by ten nephews, one niece, and several great and great-great nephews and nieces, and cousins.
